A1: Rock wool contains no harmful heavy metals. It is manufactured by high-temperature at above 1500℃melting of a mixture of diabase, lime and coke, followed by fibre formation and curing to achieve a specific density, serving as a growing medium for hydroponic agriculture.
Q2. Is rock wool carcinogenic?
A2: No. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) conducted carcinogenicity testing on rock wool（2022）1, concluding it belongs to Group 3 materials: meaning it is not classifiable as to its carcinogenicity to humans，not carcinogenic to humans.

A6: Prior to planting, soak the rockwool in diluted nutrient solution for 24 hours. As rockwool itself contains no nutrients, diluted nutrient solution must be applied with each watering (dilution ratio per user's instructions).
